Works well
We got the German built version. It does dry - almost too many drying options. I particularly like the fact that all moist air is collected in the tank (we couldn't reach the trough with the hose option) and doesn't make the room steamy.
Great dryer - just read the manual
I bought this to match our Bosch washing machine, but did have some concerns given the negative reviews. I needn't have been worried. It dries great. If the load is very small or almost dry, the sensor settings won't work, you just have to use the timed programs (it actually says this in the manual). Has honestly changed the way we do laundry. Very happy I went with it.
Dryer settings are not accurate
The settings are not accurate as when eg. sheets are dried on their own or towels dried on their own on cupboard dry setting, and the dryer is only a quarter full, neither are dry and then I have to use another setting to dry them which is not good enough. I phoned Bosch re the problem and was told that they have a lot of inquiries regarding this problem. Very disappointing.
