Never looks like new again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great unit but if you want it to look clean, forget it. I work with glass everyday, ensuring it is spotless and I cannot get this hotplate anywhere near streak free and looking good. Other than that, the appliance is wonderfully designed and functions perfectly. A shame it always looks unclean.
Aesthetically pleasing but you need to CLEAN
We loved the black look and bought this without thinking twice about the cleaning aspect. The oil/splattering is VERY visible so you will have to be OK with cleaning after EVERY single time you cook otherwise it looks disgusting. Other than that, we love it and recommend but make sure you're OK with the cleaning.
German quality
Very happy with our new cooktop. We probably should have gone for electric, but I would have wanted it to be Bosch anyway.
