Nice looking, but has this weird cover over the exhaust filters that you have to open while cooking- and looks really ugly, plus has some sort of material that I can only imagine will get covered in grease splatters. We ended up taking it off as it just doesn’t look good while it is down, but still working out how to get rid of the clip thingys! No mention of it and what it is for anywhere in the manual. Had to phone beko to find out what it was!! Nice and quiet though and good lighting.

This rangehood is definitely a good unit. It has very good ventilation capacity for such a small price tag and the sound it generates is essentially just air movement which means a few meters away you can barely hear it at all (important in a small unit). The buttons are a bit annoying. The button area is entirely flat so you have no idea which button you're pressing unless you're looking and the sensor area for each button is fairly wide so I cant use the tip of my finger, I have to use the area about 1cm down from the tip (near the first knuckle) which is not at all natural for me. The reason I'm taking a star off is because it has a very high pitched electrical noise when operating. You can only hear it when you're within the immediate area of the rangehood (say 1m) and most people are unlikely to even hear it but if you're sensitive to those sorts of things it will probably get on your nerves. You can't hear this high pitched electrical noise in turbo mode but unfortunately turbo only stays on for 10 mins at a time and then drops back to 3 (the fact that turbo doesn't stay on is also very annoying) and I obviously don't always need turbo but it's much less annoying than that high pitched ringing noise.

Fantastic rangehood, beautiful to look at, not noisy at all and has some very handy tech.
