The Vintec advantage
While traditional refrigerators generate intense blasts of cold air - bringing rapid temperature fluctuations to denature your wines - wine cabinets are equipped with a slow-cycling compressor and a thermal recycling pump to maintain humidity. Constant temperature is critical for the maturation of wines; daily or weekly temperature fluctuations denature wines and create “spoiled fruit” flavours. Vintec and Transtherm Wine Cabinets maintain stable temperatures thanks to the interaction between the compressor and the thermostat, insulated side panels and triple-glazed doors.

For example, with an understanding that even imperceptible movement can spoil wine - their cabinets create an vibration proof environment by including an externally-housed compressor, rubber shock absorbers and vibration-absorbing wooden shelves. Furthermore, as light is damaging to wine, Vintec Wine Cabinets use UV-treated tinted glass doors, dark interiors and dimmed LED lights. Lastly, these cabinets incorporate internal and external fans to provide a slow reticulated air flow throughout the cabinet - thus preventing mould growing on the corks and labels.
