History
Established in 1920 by Hidejiro Naito and Kanekichi Hayashi, Rinnai first began as a small heating appliance manufacturer in Japan. Within 5 years it had expanded its catalogue exponentionally and its range of gas heaters and hot-water units had ventured across Asia into Chinese, Taiwanese and South Korean markets. By the 1990's, Rinnai had consolidated itself as a household name internationally and today, is known as one of the largest exporters of gas and electric heating appliances in the world.
