When I first set this up I have to admit that I was not impressed at all. Way too bassy. Mind you I was only playing the digital radio and I tend not to read instructions. Anyway, after tweaking up the highs, mids and lowering the bass a fraction through the settings via the remote control, just the way I like it......this is when this little beast came alive (playing CD's and MP3 files via the USB port). Now I just luv it and even the digital radio sounds a lot better. You'll be amazed how something so compact can put out such a massive sound. The Yamaha 2 year warranty is also great and gives the buyer some piece of mind. My only gripe was the fact that the Appliances online warehouse did not put any fragile stickers on the parcel after they wrapped it and shipped it which is annoying considering that the actual Yamaha packaging does have "fragile" and "handle with care" printed on it in the first place. After ringing their customer service they apologized and assured me they would pass this on to their packaging department which I appreciated. Thanks.
