This is the 3rd Westinghouse fridge I have owned but the first 'upside down' fridge I have purchased. It is also the most noisiest fridge I have owned by far. Fridge makes a loud chugging noise accompanied by a sound similar to rubber bands twanging loudly. It often drowns the sound of the TV out when it is doing it and we can also hear it at the other end of the unit. I also have found with the design of the freezer being at the bottom with drawers you lose a lot of space and I can't store as much food in there as my last fridge of the same size. Not overly happy with this fridge, though it chills and freezes just fine.

I am totally happy with my new fridge. A high quality appliance at an affordable price.

We purchased this fridge about a year ago for my father-in-law who lives with us. We chose it because he wanted a roomy but not enormous fridge, and more importantly a fridge with a door that can be hinged on either side, as he has a bad right shoulder and prefers to use his left arm to pull the door. An upside-down or bottom-mounted feature also means less bending over to reach refrigerated items. The stainless steel exterior looks smart in his studio flat with all of his other furniture. I can't give the fridge five stars because I don't actually use it myself but it gets four for meeting his specific needs so well at a reasonable price.
