An Ordinary Stove
Purchased to replace an existing stove with an "elevated oven" design, this was the only such stove on the market. The previous stove was 25 years old and we imagined this "new" model would be an example of modern technology. What a disappointment. By today's standards, this is a "simple" stove: ceramic stove-top (four hotplates); fan-forced oven; separate grill. But only one of the hotplates is high-wattage to take a large saucepan, and that one has been placed at the rear (try lifting a boiling 5-litre pot from there!) and that large pot will foul the overhanging rear of the hob, thus not centering over the hotplate correctly. The grill-tray height cannot be altered, and there is no half-grill capability. The grill tray is flimsy and slides in and out uncertainly, especially when hot. But, hey, it cooks, and the oven heats evenly, and if we'd wanted to redesign our kitchen to build in a bench-top and separate oven that speaks French, we'd have spent a five-figure sum. That's life. Great Product
I brought this a few weeks ago and am very happy with the way it works.
slight concern about how close the grill tray is to the element if you have a thick price of meat. Great not having to clean the elements all the time.
Fan forced oven is excellent
Over all the stove is very good, the only problem i have with this stove is the white circles that outline the stove top elements, I've had the stove only a week and the white circles started coming off, they should have put a coating over the white element outlines to protect them
