Great cooker but the glass exploded!
While I loved the cooker and all it’s features, a fortnight after it was installed the glass in the oven door exploded. Apparently this can happen if there is any kind of fault (air bubble?) in the glass, and it happened as the oven was cooling down after normal use.
That said, Westinghouse were an excellent company to get a warranty repair through.
5 stars for the cooker, minus one for the hassle of the glass issue. It’s my first time using Appliances Online and their service was amazing. Couldn’t fault it.
Love my new Westinghouse Oven
I bought this oven about a month ago and really enjoying it's features of cooking and it's spaciousness and easy to clean surfaces.
I also love that it has a storage compartment underneath the oven which I can store all my trays in.
Outstanding Appliance
We purchased the Westinghouse Dual Fuel Oven/Stove about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love this appliance. Last time I baked with an electric oven was 26 years ago, always cooked with gas. Took about a day or two to get used to it and cannot fault it at all. Love the rapid heat function, cooked in 30 minutes golden brown. Better than gas. I personally cannot fault this product, great price, beautifully built and an outstanding product. Previous free standing oven cost us $3200.00, after repairs nearly $5000.00, European, so many problems with it. Also love that it is an Australian product. So a huge thank you to Westinghouse.
