Westinghouse Canopy Rangehood WRC914SC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used Westinghouse most of my life but this product is the next level rubbish. The noise level is shocking cannot go to the second setting as I feel like I am on the runway. It's shocking, you have licking oil all the time that leaks out through filters on to stove. The whole rangehood now smells greasy and my house smells greasy like steak the next day. Looks good but that's about it. This product feels like its gone back 10 years.
everything that shines is not gold
Looks good, stainless steel of canopy is easy to wipe but top flue or duct cover is another material which is difficult to clean leaving marks or stains. Can someone tell me how to clean the inside please. It's shocking, you have licking oil all the time that leaks out through filters on to stove. The whole rangehood now smells greasy. All types of insects enter through flue and pile up inside edges, very difficult to vacumm. Filters are easy to remove and clean well. It's quite loud and suction is ok for normal cooking, anything more smoky like a steak on grill does not work. It was part of new house package, I wouldn't buy , I wish I had the money to change it.
Very noisy
Nice looking unit, but very noisy even on lowest speed. Is a replacement for previous model that had the curved glass hood, whic was much quieter.
