Fantastic unit, works as advertised. Heats my cast iron skillets and pots like a gas cooker but without the gas
There are a few little quirks to get used to at first, eg it doesn't like working if there's a few drops of water, but I think that's just the nature of induction cooking.
It's also not great for using a wok due to the flat cooking surface, but again that's more because it's induction and not a flaw with the product itself.
Induction Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Westinghouse induction cooktop is easy to use, easy to clean and with most of our cooking we can just set the timer and forget until it's done - with no worry about boiling over etc as the temperature control is so consistent.
Too expensive to fail only after 4 years.
It works great until it doesn't. Same.as the 5 year old Electrolux it replaced. Error E8 21. Temperature sensor failure after only 4 years. Not impressed.
