great for house parties
Kept the food nice and warm. Easy to clean. Haven't tried the slow cooker yet. The ceramic bowls seemed a bit fragile, and need some gentle handling while cleaning in the sink. The care instructions of the lids are not clear - are they dishwasher safe....don't know. The heating unit itself is sturdy and actually looks nice on the kitchen counter
Great for entertaining
I bought this mainly as a warmer, but do like that it has the functionality to slow cook as well. We did find that it took 4 hrs just to heat the curries we had cooked the day before and that was on the highest setting. Next tine I would reheat on the stove first.
Great for parties
Bought this to keep several dishes warm for a gathering, worked very well. I did think the dishes would be a little bigger but it was enough. Very happy with this
