The display is BAD. It is hard to read, and is too bright even on lowest setting for its intended purpose as an alarm-clock radio. I cannot use it in my bedroom as it lights up the room - so has been relegated to the study... It is also not easy to operate - it has un-intuitive controls - despite what Tivoli say about it being easy to use. There is limited functionality without the remote control (eg. choosing a preset radio station). The sound is nice but the operational difficulties and the very bad display are unacceptable for an expensive radio particularly from a company with Tivoli's reputation. This is my first and last Tivoli purchase. I'm also unhappy with myself that I persevered with this radio and have now missed the 2 week window to return it for a full refund/credit.
