Great sole plate - but doesn't steam properly
Bought this iron a few months ago, worked great then literally the metal insides fell out of the plastic case. Took back to retailer who exchanged for new. New one never steamed like the first one, took that back exchanged for replacement, now on 3rd replacement and it still not steaming. It's as if it gets to a certain heat then cuts everything off. Does not steam continually no matter the setting.
Sunbeam please bring back the old precise digital control iron with the LCD display and resilium sole plate - that was a fantastic iron that lasted over 10 years of heavy use - (patchworker/quilter)
Love the Resilium sole plate, its the only sole plate that glides the smoothest over every fabric type.
Terrible iron
Hand down the worst iron I have ever owned. Very disappointed with my purchase. The heat and steam dial is very hard to read and the steam cuts out mid ironing an item.
Verve 680 Resilium
I received this Iron as a warranty replacement 6 months ago. It just isn’t hot enough. It doesn’t take out any creases out of simple 100% cotton fabric.
