Mixed Bag
After research for a new iron on the web, I believed the sunbeam solus had the functions and features applicable to my particular needs. The iron itself is a beautiful design and glides beautifully but as and older person the control dial is extremely difficult to turn asit has a smooth edge and my fingers slip. My previous sunbeam had a knurled dial that fingers could grip. As well the information on the edges of the dial are difficult to interpret and it is not clear as to how to use the iron for various materials. It is also heavier than my previous iron though I recognise this may be because of the extra features of a modern iron. I stress that it is a great iron to use but the controls are a problem.
