Good little workhorse
Great value, it blends up smoothies and crushes ice and frozen fruit. Very happy. Only drawback is that the 'pulse' button has accidentally been pressed a few times when I have struggled to get the firm fitting lid off. I now always switch off at the powerpoint first.
Great for the price, robust and does a good job
I am getting to know this blender well now. But not without several mishaps. Be careful to put the lid on really well - it's really hard to get off of course, so one tends not to jam it on too tightly. Also, and this is important, the ring gasket or seal can come off and be washed, but you then have to leave it to dry before putting it back, or it shrinks a little when dry - enough to let your liquids leak out of the blender.
That having been said, I have used the blender for smoothies, and hommus, and breadcrumbs and it is totally satisfactory. It's strong and a good size. I still trust Sunbeam to give you good value for money.
