A total surprise package.
I had paid three times the price for a top range blender with a plastic container that broke! This product has solid glass and more drink options. This Sunbeam is unbelievably top quality. I put a tray of ice cubes and set to 'smoothie' and it times and blends perfectly. Tossed in carrots and broccoli etc into vegetable drinks makes perfect juice with a little water tossed in.

I have only recently purchased the blender & I .am using it all the time for my breakfast smoothies, lunchtime juices both fruit and vegetable and dinnertime soups. Brilliant an easy to .
Good for the job ...
I like the fact that you can program it for what type of blending you want, just push the button and leave it. Things I don't like about it are:
- it's weight
- the fact that you have to unscrew the blend mechanism with the plastic lid insert, not sure how long that will last
- the bottom of the jug, which houses the blend mechanism, doesn't seem to come apart for cleaning.
Other than that, I am reasonably happy with the purchase. Not a bad price. If processing protein powder, I use the milk shake function then give it a bit extra with a whizz on low to blend the powder in.
