Old accessories don’t fit newer models
Purchased a new one after old one of 12 years died - accessories don’t fit new one! The head has changed ever so slightly to make old accessories for the mixer unusable. I repurchased this one to make use of the additional mixers I had. Otherwise I agree with other reviews, handle disintegrates! Would not buy this again.
Accessories rust
I've had this hand mixer for 3years now and I noticed today that the attachments have rust on them. It says dishwasher safe but I think not! My old Mistral hand mixer is still in good nick so I'll be going back to using that, I purchased the sunbeam for an upgrade but now regret this decision. NO I DON'T RECOMMEND!
Handle is flaking off bit of plastic
This has been a good mixer except the plastic, rubberised handle is flaking off bits of plastic, which makes this mixed unusable. Even trying to gently clean handle flakes off plastic. I will be on the lookout for a replacement mixer that doesn't use soft plastic.
