RATHER HAVE BROWNING SCALE THAN NUMBERS
I have found getting the browning right a challenge. I use sour dough and for some reason I have to use a higher number for this. Also the seeded bread is almost impossible to get right. It is hit and miss every day. Crusts just never some out right. It saves power and is easy to insert and remove the slices.
Disappointing
I had a Sunbeam for years, sadly this did not live up to my expectations. Didn’t handle dense, grainy toast e,g. Burgen. Didn’t get toasted enough, or else burnt on edges. Might be better on white bread; I don’t know, as I don’t use white bread. Otherwise, sturdy and seemed reliable.
