My husband and I have one each we put them on top of the doona and it warms the bed sheets up. We have a memory foam mattress and also a memory foam topper in the spare room. You can't use electric blankets on memory foam beds so this way we can without ruining the mattress. we have one each because I like mine on mostly all night but hubby likes his on just to heat the sheets. It's a king single size with auto switch off and 6 different temps. we have heat how we want Remove the plug/temp it can be used as just a blanket and it also washes well just pop in the washer then a warm dryer,I've had mine 3 yrs now but had to buy hubby his own this year. they sell quick too every year. I also like using mine watching tv in the lounge. I have a therapy dog she loves snuggling into it. add a few drops of lavender oil and it makes the room smell lovely and relaxing, any essential oil is good with the warmth from the blanket it acts like a vaporiser but no steam. It's also cheaper in winter than a heater. Turn it on .. instant heat
