Good for 6 months
Worked well for 6 months then overnight crapped itself. Can't make a proper coffee anymore and was directed to local repair centre (there is no replacement warranty so be warned) where the guy wouldn't even look at the machine. Just argued with me that it was fine and I just "wasn't tamping hard enough". So stuck with a broken machine gathering dust.
Sunbeam Coffee machine
Bought the Sunbeam EM7100 Cafe Series a while ago. Great machine, easy to use and makes excellent coffee. The milk frother is great too. All in all a good buy.
Second-time Unlucky
I purchased two EM7100s - one for me and one for a gift. Mine works perfectly and I've previously given a glowing review of this product; however, the machine that I gifted was a disaster. It worked for a couple of weeks and then broke down - there was no extraction pressure. Getting a replacement from Appliances Online became complicated due to lockdown, but eventually a replacement arrived only to find that it was clearly a secondhand machine with scratches, scuff marks and milk marks on it!
I was very shocked that my gift recipient was sent this as a replacement and when I complained I was told that Appliances Online had no other stock. We sent it back and I await my refund. I've done a lot of shopping with Appliances Online over the years and always had good experiences but this one was a hassle I'd prefer to have done without. I've since purchased another Sunbeam from another retailer - this time the EM 7000 (so without the pods) - and so far it is working perfectly.
