Nice size, cooks well. Love the ceramic pot that can be used directly on cooktop. So convenient. My only gripe is that there is no timer function to allow it to switch from Cook Mode to Keep Warm automatically after a given time. You have to switch it manually.

Not having owned a slow cooker before it's impossible to draw comparisons so I can only comment on this unit's performance. It is terrific, it really is. What used to be concocted in a saucepan which needed continual tending is now a matter of turning the control to low heat and leaving it alone. It still gets stirred occasionally when casually passing, but that's possibly not really necessary. To date it's been used perhaps half-a-dozen times, the first was an experiment to find out timing of the brew and from then on plain sailing. Would I recommend this particular slow cooker? Yes, I would.
