The control knobs, also, are removable for cleaning access. Trivets, burner assemblies and wok stand can be washed in warm soapy water. ● 60cm Installation - Despite occupying nearly 70cm bench space, the installed specification into the bench is only 56cm. This allows easy fitment into predesigned standard 60cm cabinetry and is suitable for much of the replacement gas cooktop market. ● Dual Flame Control - With individual control to each ring of flame, the ultra-rapid double burner cooking zone can selectively be used as another rapid burner with the larger outer flame (14 Mj/hr maximum) or, for the ultimate low simmer, use the inner flame ring exclusively (4.8 Mj/hr maximum). Easily gets dirty and stained
Good looking when it's not dirty, after a few cooks and the stainless steel rims under the burners turn stain/rust brown and you need a solid 10mins of scrubbing to remove it.
So good to have a new cooktop
I've replaced a 10yo smeg cooktop that I think was used and abused by previous house owner. This latest design still has the same concept (hard to change a cooktop too much) but it just seems to lite more efficiently and it's great to be able to control the heat again. Also very easy to clean.
Simple upgrade
Replaced 4 burner Smeg with this product. Fantastic! Same cut out as our previous cooktop so it is an easy upgrade. Cashback helps.
