Inferior Product - Huge Regrets
In Jan 2021, I talked my husband into 'upgrading' our dishwasher to go with our renovated kitchen... replacing the BOSCH one that we'd had for 10 years. I bought what I believed was the 'biggest' dishwasher for what the space allowed - apparently 15 place settings. I can confirm that I need to put the dishwasher on twice a day, for a family of 4, and STILL have dishes left over. And that's AFTER I removed the top cutlery shelf.
On that topic, I can also confirm that this top shelf was useless - the cutlery always came out dirty. And speaking of dirty dishes, I have to thoroughly wash everything before it goes in the dishwasher. If I forget to, I have to scrub food off afterwards!
And yes - I regularly use rinse aid, have cleaned the filter and spray arms, have checked the water hardness and am now using the 'toughest' cycle each and every time, which is TERRIBLE for water consumption.
I fully support the observations of a previous reviewer, "This dishwasher is small for the given measurements when compared to our last dishwasher which was a third of the cost. Very expensive and crammed for space."
To clarify, I don't have any issue with Appliances Online. I have ordered many products from them over the years and found their service and people to be wonderful. I often recommend this website to friends and family. I am however, very disappointed and frustrated by this inferior SMEG appliance. A huge waste of money!

Door catch very tight on delivery, replaced by warranty callout.
Needs to be installed by professional as installation differs from previous machine
with regard to hose layout.
Works well once you study computer control.

great appearance, easy of use and cleaning washer, always great clean on dishes, smeg are a great produce to buy with excellent after sales service, I have had a previous machine for 10 years which performed excellently.
