Quality not expected of SMEG
I bought this appliance in May and had it installed in my new kitchen in June. I am very unhappy with the cooktop. The symbols near the knobs that indicate the burner are all fading away making the look of the cooktop aged and I suspect they will wear off within months. The WOK burner does not give the pressure that should be for a wok burner.
The second issue is that the parts on the burner are so easily stained and are very hard to clean off. The material seems to be very cheap and flimsy.

Love my cooktop, looks really nice and it's really easy to clean.
Unhappy
I have had many Smeg products and this is the first I have found disappointing. You cannot got any large pots on any hotplates. The knobs are positioned poorly and heat up from any pots near them resulting in burning your fingers unless you use tongs to turn them. Very poor design and this opinion has been expressed by many visitors using the hotplates in our home.
