| Features | ● Spacious Design - When space is not restrictive, this wide 90cm hob offers five burners ergonomically positioned for maximum benefit, with the possibility of several styles of cooking at the one time. Also, cooked or yet to be cooked foods in their utensils are neatly contained within one safe area instead of occupying otherwise precious bench preparation or serving areas. ● Ultra-Rapid Dual Burner - Conveniently and ergonomically positioned on the left, this versatile burner, while being designed for perfect wok cooking, also suits the larger stock pots, saucepans and griddles. ● Auxiliary Burner - Perfectly situated, centre forward, this small burner enables a very low flame for the gentle simmer required for sauce reductions and low heat cooking and warming. A second auxiliary burner, capable of even lower heat simmering, is the separately controlled burner within the ultra-rapid dual control burner (wok). ● Low Maintenance - The seamless hob design allows for easy wipe-over cleaning and generous catchment of spills and accidental boilovers. The control knobs, also, are removable for cleaning access. Trivets, burner assemblies and wok stand can be washed in warm soapy water. ● Canali Design - The CIR597XS cooktop fits within a large and comprehensive range of Smeg appliances with complementing aesthetics.
