Very average.
Apart from the nice bit of stainless on the front, this rangehood is very average.
The construction is fairly flimsy and it was a pain to mount. The vent setup is cheap and flimsy which makes secure attachment difficult.
The suction is good enough for an under cupboard mount type of rangehood.
Works fantastically
We replaced our range hood that we had for 26 years with the Smeg unit and it is quieter and works very efficiently.

Nice styling, works well
We recently installed this rangehood and I'm happy with it overall. The dimensions were perfect (literally to the millimetre) for my install, but the far left and right sides sag a little, making the slider hang down a bit. There's also quite a gap between the rear and front/slide-out filters, meaning that a portion of what's extracted will bypass the filters. Not ideal, but other than that it performs really well. The lights are super bright, to the point that a choice of brightness settings would be great, eg; low-mid-high (note to Smeg)!
