Faulty Appliance
I purchased a Sharp microwave which turned out to be faulty.
Parts were unavailable, but it took over a month to get a refund
Great product for speedy and versatile service
This is a replacement for the old Sharp oven which finally stopped working after 12 years of good service and couldn't be economically repaired. I miss some of the old features like the energy-saver sleep mode and the more/less buttons but the new features on this model are quite good and the oven really is easy to use and does a great job. The main thing for me that's not as good as it could be is the metal rack for roasting, etc. which is a two-sided affair with short legs one side and long legs on the other side to give different clearance heights. It doesn't fit easily in regular storage space and takes up extra room because of the double-sided function; also, the top-side legs can catch the baking dish on removal if you're not careful but they are both minor issues in what is a great product providing speedy and versatile service.
