error message after the first 12 hours of work
The air conditioner gave an error message after 12 hours of work. The error message is not listed in the manual had to contact a service center. Fault fan engine on the outside module. Sharp representatives and warranty service are far and far away from being prompt. It is more than a week and they even have not told me about the date they booked the repair "ordered parts" that what they told me.
Works well
I live in a 1 bedroom flat and this AC works a treat to cool down the whole bedroom, living room and even kitchen.
Quiet and the temperature display on the indoor unit really useful. The remote control is a bit fragile.
As it is quite slim and narrow to hold so my installer advised me better not to put it on the cradle on the wall.
No idea if it works, can't get it installed
Bought this intending to also purchase the installation package advertised on the Appliances Online site, however when I rang to enquire the installers refused the job claiming they "don't do installations involving owners corporations". Delivery went smoothly, but still trying to find an installer, so right now I have no idea if the appliance is any good or not. I probably won't use this site again because of this problem.
