Functions as advertised, and is very quiet
On advice from our retailer and a family member, we purchased the S/S finished 600mm wallmount Rangehood. The unit looks great and functions well.
Quiet, stylish, and effective rangehood
While the roar of our previous rangehood meant that we couldn't even hold a conversation in our kitchen while cooking, our new rangehood is quieter than any background sizzling/bubbling, and has become a visual kitchen highlight that has impressed several guests. It extracts our steam and cooking fumes without any trouble, and has made our cooking a much more connected experience again. Well worth the investment in our kitchen!
Peaceful kitchen
I was sold on the Schweigen rangehood the moment it was demonstrated for us in the showroom. Not only did it look sleek and modern with the stainless steel finish, clean lines and touch controls but it was so quiet when running, even at the highest speed. I can watch the steam and cooking vapours being sucked up and away when cooking. The downlights are quite bright. I can have the overhead ceiling light off if I want. A wonderful and pleasant experience compared to our old rangehood whose annoying din permeated the kitchen with the cooking odours still evident. This was a great purchase.
