Broken out of the box
I had been waiting a long time to purchase this soundbar that is very well reviewed. However after 4 hours of trying to figure out why the soundbar couldn't connect via the HDMI cable and numerous calls to the Samsung help desk, it was finally concluded that the soundbar was defective.
After some help from the Appliances Online team, Samsung wanted us to drop the soundbar for them to repair in Maribyrnong. The only issue there is that the shop is only open 9 to 5.30pm Monday to Fridays.
In the end, the Appliances Online team were able to get us a refund which hopefully will arrive in the next few days. I'm very grateful to the excellent service provided by Appliances Online team but I'm now very wary of buying any soundbars from Samsung. Our previous one was also a Samsung and it also broke after 3 years of very little use.
I will never purchase a Samsung soundbar again. I have learned my lesson.

Well worth the money. The sound is out of this world. Money well spent
