Wouldn't Waste My Money
I bought this vacuum approximately a year and a half ago from Harvey Norman - since owning it the machine has been in the repair shop 3 times - with head issues and the most recent (last week) due to requiring a new battery - i paid extra for extended warrenty on the machine when i purchased it - i have just been advised that Samsung will not cover the new battery as it has run out of warrenty - so i now need to cough up $245 for a replacement battery - given just a year and a half ago i paid just under $2000 for a machine that has spent 1/2 its life in the workshop than on my floors cleaning them.. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE another Samsung product again and nor would i be recommending anyone purchase their over priced vacuum cleaners! Not Happy with the product or service what so ever....
Plenty of power - Wont connect
I have had this for about two years now. The Vacuum has plenty of power, I would say more than any other on the market. That said the WiFi and "SmartThings" app is a joke. In order to try to connect the robovac to your wifi you need to connect it first to your app.... which is impossible. The vacuum turns on its own onboard wifi but the app just won't connect to it. Ive had this issue plenty times in the past and finally managed to get it connected, but now its disconnected again I cannot reconnect it with the new app. Its crazy frustrating. Ive tried all the trouble shooting tips with no effect. Save yourself the hassled find a vac that connects and is actually a smart vac...
Good suction, impossible to connect to wifi
I bought the robot vacuum about 3 months ago to clean our home on the go. It has great suction power (even on the second level only).
The bad is really its intelligence - it repeats certain areas, does not clean well in corners and I still cannot connect the vacuum to the Samsung app (it is really impossible)!
