Failed just as warranty expired
Despite getting the extended warranty this fridge failed as soon as it expired and Samsung has no interest in assisting.
Defrost module failure
I bought the fridge back in mid 2016 and the defrost module on the fresh food department seems to be broken down after 4 years of use. When i search on the internet it seems that it is a common issue with Samsung fridge. Since their warantty only covers the inverter, I will need to cover the repair myself.
Love the door hatch
We just love the door hatch on this fridge as it makes it so easy to get to milk without opening the door completely. It is a little smaller than our old fridge but that actually makes it easier to find things and we dont loose condiments down the back of very deep shelves. There is still plenty of room for food to feed out family of 7.
