Shelves keep breaking
I like the overall fridge, it has plenty of room and is quiet and efficient. However the plastic shelves are prone to cracking. We've been through three door shelves in as many years, and half of our freezer doors have come off. And it's expensive to replace!
If I could give it NO stars I would
The fridge lasted 3 years in a normal household which is the main reason for a no star rating. I expect a fridge to last a few years longer than that.
Aside from that, the build quality wasn't great as a freezer basket broke within months. The freezer baskets are designed in such a way that it makes it difficult to get access to them fully, without pulling them right out.
Samsung might be good for phones, but I'd steer clear of their fridges.
Bought 30 months ago & the freezer has stopped
This hasn’t been a stellar purchase because of poor lighting and a cumbersome veg drawer but it’s been adequate. This week I discovered my freezer has stopped working.$300 of food ruined. Luckily I’d bought an extended warranty so am awaiting repair. My prior fridges have lasted at least 16 years . Can’t say I’d buy a Samsung again.
