We moved into a new house with wooden floors, tiles and carpet. Rather than purchasing different floor cleaners for the different surfaces I decided to give this a go. It does a good job mopping, though leaves surfaces a little wet and the carpet damp, so best do it on a nice sunny day .It lifted stains in the carpet from pets (yay), however did not cope too well with dog fur. It pays to vacuum first to get rid of larger mess or animal fur before using. It really picks up a lot of the dirt, happy with results.

I had excellent results with my wool rugs and tiled floors. It didn’t do very well on my flat woven rug, didn’t suck up the water, I even tried it with the hard floor attachment, still not great. I found it very heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. Also it’s quite loud. I’m glad I got it, glad to have clean rugs more often.

I bought it to freshen up my carpets and it does the job .
