Looks smart
We wanted a new kettle as our 5 year old one was looking pretty rough around the edges. This new one looks very slick and matches in well with our new kitchen. It doesn't however boil water any faster or any quieter than our 5 year old Breville. One distinct problem is that once the kettle has boiled, steam escapes from the "on switch" which is situated beneath the carry handle - so you can get a light burn on occasion. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker for us. Might be an issue for the elderly though.
Great kettle
have owned this kettle for approximately a month. It does all that you want from a kettle. Quick boil, fairly quiet when boiling with the added bonus of a light on the base.
The handle is easy to manage for a person with arthritis.
