Seemed to be nothing comparable to this clock DAB radio, but let down by having to find instructions on line. Still trying to workout brightness settings etc. Should have put guide in the box.

I read a lot of reviews before deciding to purchase this clock radio. I went into it expecting the instructions to be hard to follow, but they weren't as bad as I was expecting. Yes, they could be better, and could give more details on the features (like the auto-dimming - I still can't figure out where the sensor for that is and it's been a few weeks since I started using it), but they're not as bad as, say, Ikea instructions. I found if you followed the pictures first and then looked at the words, it was easy enough to set up. As for ongoing use, I love how easy it was to set up the alarms, and how the radio alarm starts off at a low volume and then increases to your set level. It's easy to snooze and also cancel the alarms as well. As mentioned above, the auto-dimming feature is a little frustrating, as I can't figure out where the sensor is, so there are times during the day where it's still very dim. It is nice that it dims overnight though, so doesn't light up the room like a torch but I can still see the time if I happen to wake. Overall, I'm really happy with the functionality and ease of use once I figured it out. I do consider myself tech savvy, so others may find the initial set up a little more troublesome.

Small, well-presented clock radio with clear display and reasonable sound quality. Easy to set up and love the option to pre-set different alarm for weekdays and weekends. Also very happy with the gentle wake up feature on the alarm where radio volume starts softly and slowly increases in volume to your preset volume preference.
