Really good
Bought this for a one bedroom unit. Approx 70sqm in total. Cooled down the unit exceptionally well that we had to turn it off as it was too cold
Disappointed
I bought this for an average size bedroom. You have to be in front of it as it doesn't cool the room. My old Dimplex broke down which did a great job so was expecting the same from this one.
Love it!
I’ve had this for about a month now and there’s been plenty of really hot days to test it out. The air conditioner works perfectly to keep my lounge room area nice and cool (probably worth noting that I’m easily able to close off the other rooms so it’s not trying to cool the whole unit). Not as effective as other types of systems and it doesn’t get the room temperature right down, but it’s so much better than I expected having read about all the failings of portable air conditioners. I’ve run it a lot and the water tank hasn’t needed to be emptied yet. My first impression was that it’s noisy, but after a while it sort of becomes white noise and I can watch tv or nap with it on no problem. Way better than expected and suits my needs perfectly.
