I got our second Polo Cool portable Air conditioner through Appliances Online at a discounted price. We rent a duplex without air conditioning or even ceiling fans so getting a portable was our only option. We had previously bought a smaller Polo Cool for the bedroom 4 years ago and it's been excellent and is still working fine. This brand does not need to be emptied of water - ever. We got this larger model for our lounge / kitchen / dining area and it works really well - it's almost too cold! Our rooms are on the small size so it works really well. It's noisier than an installed system of course, but we knew that and don't mind. Plus we can put it in the spare bedroom if we get visitors and take it with us if we move. Just a great product and easy to self install in the window.

Have been using the Polo Cool 5.5Kw for a month and it works well. a bit noisy but can be expected. the Dehumidifying function requires the tank to be drained which is fiddly when unit sits on the floor.

Buyers need to be realistic! All portable A/C units are much noisier than a split or ducted system, but this one less so than other brands on the market. Given the largish area I am trying to cool, as expected, this one works very well on hot days, struggles in extended extreme weather. Neat smaller profile machine with easy to use controls in a creamy white case that goes with most modern decor. Happy with my purchase, especially with the discounted price I got from Appliances Online when they were running a special before xmas.
