I expected far better from a top-of-the-line Philips product, but this unit has been a major letdown. The LCD screen failed within six months, and getting it replaced was a frustrating, time-wasting ordeal. Even when idle, the unit sporadically emits an annoying clicking noise — likely from the fan — which is especially irritating in a quiet space. To make matters worse, the white plastic casing noticeably yellowed on the sun-exposed side after just over a year. That level of visible degradation is unacceptable for a product in this price range. Overall, the performance and build quality have been far below what I’d expect from a flagship device. I won’t be buying another Philips product again. This marks the third time I’ve been let down — and it seems like the quality of Philips products has steadily declined over the years. Three strikes, and you're done.
