Induction coil too small
I bought this and tried to use it for a fortnight, but the induction coil is too small. The circle to show the size pan that can be used is quite large (as is the footprint of the cooker) but the actual coil is half the diameter. My pots had hot spots in the centre and had I used them at a higher wattage I may have warped them.
Very disappointed! I bought this because of the "Premium" description.
It was pretty easy to use though.
Complicated to use
Very stylish and low profile, looks great on the table but the controls are confusing. I just wanted to keep something warm on the tabletop and found it impossible to get a satisfactory setting. Outstanding if you want to cook something but a bit hard to just keep things warm.
Good travelling stovetop
Purchased about a month ago, I've been using this at home on a daily basis while the kitchen is under renovation. It's good for this temporary situation and will be perfect for trips away, camping etc.
Basic cooker, the preset options are an annoying waste of time.
The glass is discolouring around the heating element, I would complain about this if it happened on a permanent kitchen stove-oven unit. On a cheap portable unit it doesn't matter to me.
The heating element is about 10 or 12 cm in the center of the large painted circle. It still heats up a large 28 cm cast iron fry pan though.
