Fulfilled requirements perfectly.
I bought this 3.1 system after my old soundbar finally "died" and, being older, was finding some speech a little hard to hear. The two stereo arrays, with middle array of speakers for speech, work superbly, whilst the bass/sub-woofer can be both teasing and dramatic. Any wind, storms at sporting venues are a tease, often causing me to check out my window, whilst machine-gun/cannon-fire is very emphatic and realistic...and I have been close to both. Music can be soaring and beautiful.
