Tested this system for around a week. In the end had to utilise Appliance Online's free return policy. The sound from this system is very unbalanced. Extremely bass heavy. The sub really packs a punch. The satellites are powerful but completely lack midtones. I think perhaps no speakers of this size really manage to deliver anything in the way of midtones. The system tries too hard to make the sound fancy and surround-like, to the extreme detriment of actual enjoyment and sound quality. The system is particularly bad for music - movies and TV shows it might be borderline acceptable. One big positive I found was build quality, which was excellent. But I could not live with the poor sound quality.
