Bought a month ago; maybe the larger would work better.

I bought the heater to replace one that had a faulty rocker switch which you can no longer get. I was disappointed with the differences. This one has only one setting, the light showing the unit is on cannot be seen in daytime. On saying this it works well and I since bought a smaller one to install in bathroom.

I bought it in early September when the temperature was about 16 degrees and that’s been the approx. temp. when I’ve used it. The house is an old weatherboard so is colder than newer homes. A fireplace heats the main living area but the bedrooms are cold, so I was using an old radiant heater in the day to heat one of them (21m2) so that I could be in there without having to wear a lumbar jacket, but was never comfortable leaving it on without being present, so decided to buy a panel heater – wasn’t sure if it would be effective, but it’s great. It takes the chill off the air, and I don’t have to worry about it when I leave the room as I did with the radiant heater. The simplicity of the temperature control is impressive as well. I used the castors rather than the wall mount so that I could move it around and it’s really light and easy to wheel. I’ve also used it to take the chill off the air in the living area rather than use the fireplace, and it does the job which was a surprise. Another thing I noticed is that when young kids come to the house I haven’t had to worry about my heating appliance being a danger to them. The heater is absolutely silent and so slim line that it won’t be a problem to store. I will cover the vents with a towel/cloth when storing so that dust doesn’t enter them as I spoke to somebody who owns one and they said that it can smell of dust when you first turn it on after storing, but they hadn’t covered their’s when storing. So far, very impressed with Nobo.
