Do not buy this unit
This has a premium price tag and it is not worth it sorry. The suction is excellent but everything else is very complicated and poorly designed. Emptying the container and cleaning the filter is super complicated and it doesn't reassemble correctly unless you fiddle with it extensively. On top of all of this - it ships with a second battery which is great - except that ours died after only a couple of months of use. I lodged a warranty claim through Appliances Online on the 4th of October - 4 weeks later and I have heard nothing from Miele. I followed up again with AO and they said they will "follow up with priority". I do not expect to hear anything further.
Great vacuum
Excellent modern vacuum. Have always used the vacuum with tube and this is our first time using a battery powered one.
