Works perfectly!
Bought this early January and it has been great thru all the heatwaves. Easy to transport between rooms and I love the window attachment as I don't have to pull out the flyscreen.
Good for closed rooms, but noisy
Bought this for the dreadful hot days of January 2017. Installed in our open plan lounge room (the exhaust pipe out a sliding window). Even though it is meant for closed rooms, it did provide some relief in open plan. It couldn't cope with 42 degree days though. We moved it into the bedroom, the outside temperature was 28 degrees all night, it made the room very cool. However the Sleep mode was useless - started out quiet but then the noise level went to its normal high level in no time. Also, in normal mode, the fan control doesn't make any difference to the noise level.
Excellent performance
This unit delivers excellent performance. It easily held a 5m x 12m kitchen/dining area at a comfortable 24⁰ when the outside temperature was 39⁰. I haven't used it yet in a bedroom, but it is quite quiet when running, only air noise apparent, so should be easy to sleep with.
