does what it says on thebox
good unit, nice and quiet. adjustable slice thickness is awesome. wish it came in the traditional kitchen aid almond cream colour to match the rest of our kitchen aid appliances. read some reviews it was hard to clean. have had no such problem. a quick rinse sorts it out nicely.
