Fast toaster
I don't know why, but this toaster is FAST. Good thing it's got a "keep warm" function because it always finishes toasting so quickly. I think a lot of the price is the brand name, but it's built well so some of the price premium is justified.
Worth the extra expense
I made the mistake of buying a cheap toaster when my old one broke and it was so fragile it broke almost immediately. Consequently I decided to splash out and buy the long slot Kitchen Aid toaster and I have absolutely no regrets. It’s a gorgeous looking thing, so always a pleasure to leave out on the bench to compliment my mixer. It is robust and well designed, and we all particularly like the keep warm feature. Great for all types of bread, hot cross buns and crumpets too.
Kitchenaid long slot toaster
Bought the toaster & have been using it for a couple of weeks now. It is an excellent product, a few bells & whistles but does everything right. Very happy.
