Terrible plastic smell and taste in water
I bought this kettle a year ago and despite following recommendations to get rid of the taste and smell from the plastic seal inside the kettle on the base, the smell and taste still ruins the flavour of tea. I am currently trying to get the kettle replaced. The kettle looks great and is easy to use but the smell and taste of the water from the kettle is awful.
very attractive appearance or maybe quaint looking
great little tea kettle, but we have not used it or tea making but just instant coffee, it boils water quickly but for 85 year olds the jug is heavy with a small amount of water, say 2 or 3 cups. much more than that we would find it difficult to lift and pour
We find the warning bell charming, to notify that the kettle has boiled.
Versatile and well made
We bought the KitchenAid Glass kettle to have more temperature choices for tea. It has been a great success, not just with being able to enjoy different teas but also the stylish design and subtle tones when ready
