Over-rated
Great functionality ideologically with ability to add food processor attachment but poorly designed in a practical sense. Unit is heavy (understandably from motor) so why couldn't Kenwood have cut out notches in the base so my fingers don't get crushed on the benchtop everytime I move the unit. Don't know where I'm actually supposed to grab onto to carry the unit. Sometimes I can't be bothered getting it out! Splatter guard a great idea but a pain to use because you have to remove the beaters before splatter guard goes in/out. Also if the splatter guard is in place, you have to force shut the (white section) head down with a heavy bang in order to lower and lock the beaters back down into the bowl. Beaters don't fully reach the sides or base so you still have to stop and mix yourself. Adding the food processor attachment makes unit very tall so need to use it on an open benchspace with no overhanging cupboards. When food processor is on, the beater moves at the same time because the control dial turns them both on simultaneously. Heavy and cumbersome to use, not inspiring at all. So disappointed.
Fantastic food mixer
Highly recommend. I’m thrilled with my Kenwood Sense. It’s easy to use and clean, has a powerful motor and not too big for storing. I’ve so far made cakes, cookies and pastry all with ease. It replaces a Breville food processor which I sold after 6 months as I felt it didn’t give me the right results for my baking needs.
Wish I’d bought my Kenwood sooner, it’s perfect.

One of the Must Have Kitchen Appliances
It is robust in build, it doesn’t heat up immediately even after 15 mins of running straight. It produces a smooth and beautiful dough passing Window Pane. I was hesitant to buy because of the price but it is just worth it compare to Kitchen Aid’s price. I love it so giving it all a 5.
